Italian starlet Sebastian Giovinco is in the middle of contract negotiations with Juventus and last week the 21 year-old was convinced that an agreement could be made with the Italian giants.
But now it seems that he is not happy with the deal on offer and is refusing to sign after the club only offered him an extra €500,000 per year for five years..
Consequently Arsenal and Liverpool have both been alerted by his agent, Claudio Pasqualin, as they have been keeping an eye on the young prodigy's development.
The diminutive attacking midfielder was loaned out at Empoli last season, where he scored 6 goals in 35 starts, and Claudio Ranieri thinks he is now ready to fulfil his promise on the big stage.
He is being compared to a young Zola and is noted for his long range curling freekicks. He has made 36 appearances already for his country from ages U16 to U21 levels and is tipped as one of Italy's most promising players.
